How to connect Google customer reviews with Magento 2?

To set up what attributes can be filtrable, go to Stores > Attributes > Product.
Login to your Google Merchant account and go to Settings → Account Settings.
Choose the country and the language of your store.
Then, go to Settings → Business Information → Website.
Verify and claim your Magento website to avoid complaints.
Next, go to Growth → Manage Programs → Customer Reviews and enable reviews.

Works as it should

This extension does what it should. No problem installing or using it. We have a website in 2 languages that are both supported by Google (English + Thai). The pop-up on the Thank You Page and the survey email from Google are sent in the correct languages as per our configurations. Note that the expected delivery date setting might not be respected by Google as I have read in forums. We had set the survey to be sent 5 days after the order is placed, but it took 7 days to get the email from our test orders. Google can also decide not to send a survey to 100% of people who agree to be contacted. We haven't tried the badge yet as we need to wait for 100 reviews before displaying it.
