SEOPress REST API #3, custom table for Content Analysis, Course schema updated and more – SEOPress 7.5

SEOPress 7.5 is now available. We encourage you to update your site as soon as possible to take advantage of the latest features and improvements.

πŸŽ‰ New – Third iteration for the SEOPress REST API

Developers will be delighted to discover this third major update to our SEOPress REST API.

The metadata are now contextualized, meaning that metadata (meta title, meta description, meta robots, OG / Twitter social tags, etc.) of the API are identical to those of your source code.

A major step forward for your developments and integrations with our WordPress SEO plugin.

To learn more about our API, read our documentation.

πŸŽ‰ New – The future of our Content Analysis feature

Our content analysis, which helps webmasters write better content for search engines, has been completely refactored.

Hello to the wp_seopress_content_analysis custom table where each analysis is stored in a dedicated column.

On a daily basis, better performance but above all, it lays the foundations for the future of this functionality.

We can’t tell you more yet as the design phase has only just started.

We look forward to presenting this development to you in the coming months.

πŸŽ‰ New – Course schema enhanced

Google regularly updates its structured data, so we must follow these changes.

In this new version of SEOPress PRO, the CourseΒ schema has two new sub-schemas:

  • offers
  • courseInstance

Accompanied by their respective properties to try to obtain the rich snippet in the SERPs more successfully.

Available for the manual and automatic schema (for the latter a little development will be necessary like the FAQ schema with ACF for example).
