Beaver Builder Announces New Box Module & Global Styles & Colors
Following the release of version 2.7 of its page builder plugin for WordPress, Beaver Beaver has just announced two exciting upcoming features, including a new Box module and Global Styles & Colors.
New Box Module
Available in the free version of Beaver Builder, the new Box module is similar to a row or column, but acts as a container. They can be nested, stacked and arranged horizontally, vertically or in a grid. Compared to percentage or fixed-width columns, boxes can be more fluid and flexible, just like a Flexbox.
In addition, boxes open up many new possibilities for modern page designs in WordPress – with less markup than traditional row and column layouts.
Global Styles & Colors
The folks at Beaver Builder will also be adding global styling and global colors, which will allow you to set global styling options across your WordPress site for typography, links, buttons, headings and more.
Global colors will allow you to set up a colour palette and colour names for a site. These colours will then be easily accessible in Beaver Builder. They are also looking into the possibility of supporting WordPress global colours.
Please note that there is no ETA for these features yet. Stay tuned!
Update: Beaver Builder 2.8 was officially released in February 2024.
