Breakdance Introduces Synced Sliders, WP-CLI Support & Accessibility Improvements
Elias from Breakdance has just announced version 2.7 of the visual website builder for WordPress, currently in beta. Say hello to synced sliders, WP-CLI support, better accessibility and much more.
New Features
Let’s take a look at what’s new in Breakdance 2.7:
- Significant accessibility improvements such as the addition of a ‘Skip to main content’ link to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.4.1, and the reduction of motion during slider autoplay and slide transitions
- Sync multiple sliders and control them using buttons
- WP-CLI support for common admin tasks such as clearing the cache, replacing URLs, and managing settings
- Form builder enhancements: Browser autocomplete and custom input attributes are supported via a developer hook, and preset styles are supported for form buttons
- Better plugin compatibility with MemberPress ReadyLaunch and TranslatePress
- New dynamic data points: ACF URL fields work as background images & individual WooCommerce price fields
In other news, Breakdance has added a new option to hide the design library menu items from the WordPress admin menu. Great for client sites! They have also made performance improvements and reduced the plugin download size by 50%.
