Bunny.net: Persistent Volumes For Magic Containers Now In Public Preview
The bunny.net team has just announced that persistent volumes for Magic Containers are now available to try out in public preview!
New: Persistent Volumes
Modern PaaS makes it easy to automatically scale your apps. However, persistent storage can be more challenging. That’s why bunny.net has just launched persistent volumes that are completely set-and-forget.
What you get:
- Auto-attach and detach:
When your app scales up and new replicas are started, new volumes are automatically provisioned and attached. When replicas scale down, their volumes detach but persist, meaning they are ready to reattach when needed and all data remains intact. - No data duplication between replicas:
Each pod gets its own dedicated volume. When your app is replicated across regions, every replica runs with its own storage. - Encryption:
Every volume is AES-encrypted by default to keep all data safe. - Limits:
Up to 100 GB per volume and up to two volumes per app (pod).
In terms of pricing, bunny.net charges $0.10 per GB per month based on the size of the allocated (provisioned) volume.
