CheckoutWC: New Post-Purchase Upsells & A/B Testing

CheckoutWC introduces two major new features designed to increase average order value (AOV) and enable more data-driven decision-making. WooCommerce stores can now display additional one-click offers on the thank you page after checkout and conduct A/B tests on different order bump variations.

Let’ take a look at what’s new in CheckoutWC 11.0:

  • Thank You Page Order Bumps:
You can add one-click order bumps to the thank you page, right after payment, while customers are still in a positive state of mind. Ideal use cases include subscriptions, refills, memberships and gift cards, as well as any other targeted add-ons using the existing rules engine, such as cart contents, order value, customer history, country and user role. The process is truly one-click: when the customer accepts the offer, the item is added to the existing order without them having to re-enter their payment details.
  • A/B Testing for Order Bumps:
Merchants select an existing order bump as the control and can then create as many variants as they wish by changing the product, discount, copy, placement or rules. Shoppers are randomly assigned to a variant at checkout and will see that same version for their entire session. CheckoutWC displays the number of impressions, conversions and revenue for each variant, enabling merchants to determine when they have sufficient data to select a winner.

Thank you page order bumps are available on CheckoutWC Plus plans and above, in addition to the existing order bump locations. A/B testing is a Pro feature.
