CheckoutWC 9.0 Adds Trust Badge Templates & Better Mobile Checkouts
Less than a year after releasing version 8.0, Clifton from CheckoutWC has launched version 9.0 of their conversion-optimised cart and checkout page for WooCommerce. It finally comes with trust badge templates, better mobile checkout and performance through the use of React, and more.
Trust Badge Templates
CheckoutWC currently has two built-in trust badge templates to choose from, with more coming soon.
- Guarantee: The original template is great for building customer trust. Satisfaction guaranteed will help your prospects overcome their fear of buying your products.
- Review: A brand-new template that helps you provide social proof to your customers.
Improved Mobile Checkout
As of version 9.0, the CheckoutWC cart is now a React component. You can now enable a mobile cart that’s easily accessible on the first step of the checkout process, with the same features as desktop users.
Searchable Admin Pages
The CheckoutWC developers have rebuilt the admin settings pages with React. They are also now fully searchable, e.g. the order bump settings.
Better Order Bumps
You have already been able to create order bumps as post-purchase upsells, which are displayed in a modal after the order has been placed. In the new version, you can now optionally make Order Bumps full-screen and customize the look and feel using the new Order Bump Offer Form block for Gutenberg.
As the icing on the cake, you can now set an order bump to be automatically added to the shopping cart. For variable products, the order bump is displayed in a modal.
What’s More?
CheckoutWC now also includes a new Auto Select Free Shipping feature that automatically applies free shipping when a customer qualifies for it.
Local pickup configuration has also been simplified. They now automatically add an ad hoc local pickup method to any shipping zone that does not have one.
For free and virtual orders, a new feature has been added to the checkout page that allows you to hide the billing address fields.
Finally, CheckoutWC now includes abandoned cart recovery email templates, a new option to disable Express Checkout and a new gateway problem detection feature.
