Staging 2.0

Staging
Copy Live To Staging ยฉCloudways

Due to numerous requests from customers, Cloudways just added more flexibility when pushing sites from the staging environment to the live version. Staging 2.0 resolves these core issues, offering you more control over the syncing functionality. You can now exclude any files or folders when pushing incremental changes.

With this update, you will not have to repeat optimisations you have already made to the staging site in the live version. You also no longer have to deal with unwanted changes to your live site.

WooCommerce & Multisites

WooCommerce users are now able to successfully push changes to the live site without messing up any associated WooCommerce tables, files or code. The same applies to multisite staging.

For example: Your WooCommerce live site has new orders coming in and uses an incremental ID order. Any changes you make to the staging site can now be pushed to the live site without affecting the incremental ID in the database.
