Conversion Bridge Overhauls Consent System
Derek from Conversion Bridge has just released version 1.13 of his WordPress analytics and conversion tracking plugin. This update introduces an overhauled consent system and improved matching, as well as new integrations with CheckoutWC, Usercentrics, and Termageddon.
New Features
Let’s take a quick look at what’s new in Conversion Bridge 1.13:
- Overhauled Consent System:
The consent system has been rebuilt to run fully in JavaScript, ensuring accurate consent handling even with page caching. Consent is now evaluated directly in the browser on every visit. Additionally, per-platform consent controls have been added, allowing more precise management beyond general categories like “analytics” or “marketing.” The update also introduces a new integration with Usercentrics and Termageddon. - Enhanced Matching:
- Phone fields have been added to over 24 form integrations, including Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms and many more. If a form collects a phone number, your ad platforms can use it for matching purposes.
- Address fields (city, state, zip, country) for WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, LifterLMS, Paid Memberships Pro, GiveWP, Charitable, WP Simple Pay, FluentCart, and MemberMouse.
- There is also support for the Meta address field, so all that address data flows right into Meta’s Conversions API.
- New CheckoutWC Integration:
Conversion Bridge offers full checkout funnel tracking, including view cart, begin checkout, shipping step, payment step, coupon usage and order bumps.
In other news, Tutor LMS e-commerce tracking now covers the entire purchase funnel — from adding items to the cart and viewing the cart to beginning checkout and completing a purchase.
With Conversion Bridge, you can now also assign multiple Google Ads conversion labels to different events, making it easy to distinguish between lead and purchase conversions.
