Launch Of The Elementor Developers Hub
Elementor has just launched two important developer resources including a dedicated Developers Site and Code References. The Elementor Developers Hub will help you to extend the page builder with your own add-ons. Also, you can take a closer look under the hood.
Elementor Developers Hub
The new Developers site is a great new resource for developers who want to integrate the WordPress page builder into their own products. Plugin devs will learn how to create new Elementor widgets while theme developers will find a tutorial on how to implement the new Locations API. Thus, users can control not only the page content but also the theme layout.
The Developers Center consists of the following two sections:
- Code Reference: Auto-generated from Elementor phpDocs
- Developer Resources Center: Including actual guides & step-by-step tutorials on how to create extensions
The code reference currently includes PHP documentation only. After the release of WordPress 5.0, all JavaScript files will be documented as well.
Elementor Beta
Interested in testing Elementor Pro 2.0 Beta? Become a beta tester and help them test all the amazing new theme builder features. PS: It will be fully compatible with WordPress 5.0 and the Gutenberg editor.
Pricing, Support & Updates
The Elementor page builder can be downloaded for free, but comes with limited features. Elementor Pro plans are available from as low as $49 for one site.
Upon purchase you will receive one year of free updates and support. Also, they provide a 30 day money-back guarantee.
