The Events Calendar Releases New Seating Add-On for Event Tickets

The Events Calendar team has finally announced Seating, the highly anticipated new assigned seating add-on for Event Tickets. It allows you to create interactive seating maps of your venue and sell specific seat types.

New Seating Add-on

With Seating, you can create interactive seating maps and sell new types of tickets that increase your bottom line while enhancing the event experience for your customers.

Find out how Seating works:

  • Build Your Seating Map:
Create an unlimited number of seating plans for all your future events using the seating map builder directly in WP Admin.
  • Add Seat Types:
You can designate certain seats on your map as general admission, reserved, accessible, VIP or whatever you want.
  • Create Tickets:
Easily create event tickets for any seat type. Adjust prices per seat type to incentivize sales and increase revenue.
  • Sell Assigned Seats:
Customers can use your interactive seating plan to choose the exact seats they want.

Seating is perfect for cinemas and theatres, giving your audience the freedom to choose their preferred view while ensuring their group sits together. For conferences, workshops and seminars, add assigned seating options to your event for VIPs, special groups or breakout sessions.

Please note that Seating is not a WordPress plugin, but a Software as a Service (SaaS) that connects to Event Tickets.
