FlowMattic Introduces AI Agents & MCP Client Integration

Nitin from FlowMattic has just released version 6.0 of its no-code automation plugin for WordPress. This new version has introduced AI Agents, as well as MCP Client and FTP/SFTP integrations.

What’s new in FlowMattic 6.0? Let’s take a look:

• AI Agents: Your workflows can now think for themselves. Rather than mapping out every single step yourself, AI agents select the appropriate tools, execute them in the correct order and repeat the process until the task is complete. This is a completely different approach to automation.
• MCP Client: With FlowMattic, you can now connect to any external MCP server and use it directly in your workflows. The MCP ecosystem is growing quickly, and you now have instant access to it all.
• FTP / SFTP Integration: Full file management via FTP and SFTP. You can upload, download, delete, rename, read and write files. Plus, there is a poll-based trigger that detects new files and automatically kicks off workflows.

In other news, FlowMattic has introduced a JSON parser and a new ZIP archive module. It has also added DNS/domain tools, Slack-based approval workflows and more than 20 new WordPress actions. Other new features include bulk workflow management, task history re-execution and a patcher system for incremental updates.
