FluentCRM Rolls Out Multi-Threaded Email Sending & Event Tracking
Jewel from FluentCRM has just released the first major update of 2024 for its email marketing automation plugin for WordPress. Version 2.8.40 introduces multi-threaded email sending, event tracking, a new goal for SureCart and more.
Multi-Threaded Email Sending
By default, FluentCRM sends emails in single-threaded mode. It also makes sure that it uses optimal server resources to send these emails. If you have an email list with more than 50K+ contacts, you may want to enable the multi-threading feature. This will then send the emails in a different process, which will increase the sending speed by about 2X. Note that this requires a good server.
To enable this feature, go to FluentCRM Settings > Advanced Features to enable Multi-Threading Email Sending.
New Event Tracking Module
Inspired by WPFusion’s Jack Arturo, who recently switched from ActiveCampaign to FluentCRM and wrote his own module (see The Pier #23), FluentCRM has just added a native event tracking module that supports contact filtering and automation.
It allows you to see the activity of your contacts in real time. To enable contact activity tracking, you need to go to FluentCRM Add-ons from the sidebar and enable the new Event Tracking module.
New Goal for SureCart & More
FluentCRM has also added a new Order Received in Surecart goal, which allows you to easily track purchases in the e-commerce platform for WordPress.
Furthermore, a new automation trigger called Membership Level Cancelled has been introduced for Paid Memberships Pro.
Finally, FluentCRM has introduced custom field grouping, bounce handling for Postal and a one-click list unsubscribe option in the email header to comply with Google’s and Yahoo’s latest email deliverability policies.
Auto-Login
Shortly afterwards, FluentCRM has released a new auto-login feature with smart links. When a smart link is included in an email and clicked, the connected WordPress user is automatically logged in and redirected to the specified target URL, as FluentCRM recognises which contact clicked the URL. For security reasons, auto-login only works for low-level user roles. If the user has published posts capability then it will skip.
