HeySummit Releases New Event Lobby for Real-Time Networking

The Event Lobby is your new central hub for real-time networking, attendee engagement and live interaction throughout your entire event. Whether you’re hosting a multi-day summit or a one-off workshop, the Event Lobby provides a space where attendees, speakers and team members can connect before, during and after sessions. They can share insights, connect privately or continue conversations after a session ends.

The Event Lobby is the first of a new wave of live engagement features coming to HeySummit, and will be joined by custom chat channels and its own live streaming tool.

Custom Agenda Items

HeySummit now allows you to insert custom agenda items between talks in your event schedule, which is perfect for adding coffee breaks and networking sessions or for marking key transitions throughout the day. This new feature is designed to help organisers and attendees alike to better understand how the day is structured and paced. Agenda items are fully visible within the main schedule, alongside your talks, providing a clear chronological overview.

In other news, HeySummit now makes it easier for attendees to connect with each other and discuss event logistics or their impressions of the venue. They have introduced commenting support directly on venue detail pages. This lightweight communication option complements the more structured event lobby chat rooms, providing attendees with a quick way to share their thoughts on the venue.
