Introducing the Catalyst Bundle, Theme Subscriptions & Retirements at ColorLabs

A few days back, ColorLabs have proudly launched the redesign of their website. Along with the new storefront, they have announced several fundamental changes – some good, some not so good.

ColorLabs are replacing their max, app & framework bundles with a new one called Catalyst Bundle. This one year membership will get you complete access to all WordPress themes, plugins and MobileView skins for just $289.

Now to the drawbacks: From now on, all products including subscriptions and single theme purchases are eligible for one year of free updates and support. There won’t be free lifetime support for single themes anymore.

Also, ColorLabs are retiring a total of 19 WordPress themes including Le Journal, TypeMagz and Sharpness. However, you will still get support for the next six months. Even though there is no official announcement (yet), it seems that existing customers have been grandfathered in the old conditions. The status of our previously bought Travelous theme still says “Lifetime”. Phew!
