Kinsta: SSH Access Now Available On All Hosting Plans + More Disk Space

Kinsta just announced some really big improvements for their managed WordPress hosting platform. Over the past couple of months, they have been carefully listening to suggestions, criticism and ideas submitted by their customers. Now, they are more than happy to introduce SSH on all plans, more disk space, and additional free migrations.

SSH, Disk Space & HKG Data Center

Many developers with smaller sites complained about the lack of SSH on Kinsta’s lower-tier plans. This has slowed down their workflows and prevented projects like Bedrock and Trellis (developed by Roots) from being used. Well, not anymore. SSH access is now available on all plans from Starter through Enterprise.

Another highly requested feature was to provide enough disk space (SSD storage) on their lower-tier plans, so now both existing and new customers will have more disk space on the Starter, Pro, and Business 1 plans.

Further increasing Kinstaโ€™s reach in Asia, they are excited to announce that the data center in Hong Kong (asia-east2) is now available for hosting your WordPress sites. However, as moving locations requires an IP address change and additional steps from the Kinsta team, you need to open a support ticket with them.

Unlimited Free Migrations

For a limited time, they are offering unlimited free migrations from WP Engine, Pantheon, Cloudways, and DreamHost as well as from Flywheel. Move your WordPress sites to Kinsta today! This offer is valid until January 31, 2019.
