New Features

Let’s find out what’s new in MailerPress 1.4:

  • Native Amazon SES Support:
You can now choose Amazon SES as your email provider. This allows you to send thousands of emails with high delivery rates at a significantly lower cost than traditional marketing platforms.
  • Intelligent Spam Protection:
A new security feature prevents bots and malicious actors from cluttering up your database. Honeypot protection adds an invisible field that only bots can see. If this field is populated, the submission is automatically rejected. You can now also limit the number of form submissions allowed from a single IP address within a specific timeframe to prevent flood attacks.
  • Public Archives & Web Versions:
A public URL is now generated for every sent campaign. This makes it easy to share a ‘View in Browser’ link on social media or with users who have trouble viewing the email client version. You can now automatically display a library of your past newsletters, aka ‘Past Issues‘, on your WordPress site using a Gutenberg block or shortcode. This library is updated automatically whenever you send a new campaign.

In other news, MailerPress has overhauled the onboarding process. The redesigned Setup Wizard can now be restarted at any time if you need to reconfigure the basics.
