Metorik: Better Multistore Dashboard & Custom Meta Date Filtering

The Metorik team has a fixed ritual every year. At the half-way mark of each year they take stock of everything they have built up in the “WooCommerce co-pilot” over the past year. Afterwards, they take a few weeks to make everything faster. This year they improved the Multistore Dashboard and added custom meta date filtering.

They made the multistore dashboard as valuable as possible by adding some new stats like New Customers, the ability to see gross sales instead of net sales, more KPIs, and even a link to each store’s WooCommerce admin.

Custom Meta Date Filtering

Now you can filter custom meta by date roles. For example, if you had a custom meta field for orders such as shipping_date where you stored the shipping date of an order, you can now filter by it like:

  • Orders with a shipping date in the past 7 days
  • Orders with a shipping date between 2 dates
  • Orders with a shipping date on exactly a certain date

Plus this works for any custom meta, whether it’s for orders, customers, or even subscriptions.

But you can do more than just segment. For example, you can automatically send an Engage email, receive an automatic export, and create a custom dashboard or digest based on custom meta dates.
