Welcome to the 151st issue of The Pier. FlyingPress has completely rewritten its preload engine, which is now in public beta. This new version uses a much simpler system than the previous one based on Action Scheduler, and the results are really promising: preload speeds are 2–4 times faster, server usage is lower, and large sites are handled much better. It also supports parallel preloading with configurable concurrency. By default, it runs one at a time, but this can be increased (up to four).

Exciting: Etch is currently working to ensure that its “next-generation visual development tool” is platform-agnostic. Exciting times ahead!

Milestone: SleekByte 2.0 introduces terminal integration with Claude Code, as well as automatic per-snippet version history with inline diffs. It also offers SCSS support and a rebuilt developer workflow.

Launch I: SleekRank is a brand new SleekWP plugin. It enables you to generate hundreds of pages from a single template and data source. Simply connect JSON, CSV, Google Sheets, Notion or any REST API. Then define a URL pattern and map your data. The first 100 LTDs will receive €50 off.

Launch II: WPXPO has announced that WowInvoice will be released soon. It’s a professional invoicing solution built natively for WooCommerce, offering support for EU VAT.

Launch III: With 14 tools in one plugin, WP Multitool has one goal: to find and fix every slow query.

Launch IV: Developed by one of the creators of Builderius, CraftForms offers a visual, Gutenberg-powered form builder, professional email template design, RESTful API integration and intelligent submission management.

Launch VI: FunnelKit has officially launched Sublium, a new WooCommerce subscription plugin designed to help you transform one-time buyers into loyal subscribers.

Rebranding: PhantomWP has rebranded as Phantom Studio, a zero-config Astro studio that runs in your browser. This new name hints at the possibility of supporting other CMSs in the future, not just WordPress.

👋 New: Square Payment Gateway

FluentCart 1.3.26 introduces a new Square Payment Gateway add-on that supports one-off payments and manages the entire subscription lifecycle, as well as full and partial refunds, all from the order page. Six currencies are available at launch: USD, CAD, AUD, GBP, JPY and EUR. Digital wallets are coming soon.

Private products can now be included in discounts, coupons and order bumps. This is useful for exclusive offers, member perks or items available only as part of a bundle.

Finally, the subscription setup fee is shown on receipts and emails as a separate line item. No more “what is this charge?” questions.

Fancy Framework now supports Etch! This free tool helps you to generate variables and basic CSS for your projects. Watch this video to find out more. Although it was originally built for Bricks Builder, it is now also compatible with Etch. According to its developer, it is not intended to compete with ACSS.

BreakcolorUI Blocks releases Smart Filter for Breakdance. It adds powerful filters to any listing. The filters apply in real time, with no need to reload the page. Watch this video to find out more!

In response to customer feedback, ZipWP now offers reduced prices. You can now host up to 50 sites for just $14.99 a month.

Elegant Themes introduces a new Variable Generator for Divi 5. This allows you to set up a complete sizing and colour variable system in just a few clicks.

Activity Log Pro 1.0.6 introduces Log Channels, which provide a powerful new way to stream your activity logs to external platforms such as Grafana Loki, Better Stack and Slack in real time. Use Login Flood Guard to reduce noise during brute-force attacks.

Directorist 8.7.1 introduces the ‘Nearby Sort’ option, which orders the results from the address or postcode entered by the shortest to the longest distance. There is also a new listing rejection flow.

FireBox now integrates with ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Salesforce (Web-to-Lead) and GetResponse. You can now use the built-in desktop/tablet/mobile preview switch. The design controls now adapt to the selected device, making it easier to adjust layouts and view campaigns on different screens.

Oxygen 6.1 introduces multi-element selection, variable fonts, conditional classes, component visibility, multi-class entry, PHP 8.4 support and faster previews.

Syncfic 1.0.2 adds a GDPR consent message pop-up.

GigPress Reborn brings back everything you loved — it’s a modern gig listing and tour dates plugin.

E-Commerce

AB Split Test now introduces device-size results filtering, allowing you to view every split-test report by mobile, tablet or desktop, with per-segment winners and revenue stats. A new lightweight Test Ideas pipeline now feeds directly into the main experiment workflow, with ICE scoring shown front and center, as well as hover tooltips and full API, CLI and MCP support. This allows you to capture and prioritise hypotheses before promoting them to live tests.

SureCart 4.2.3 introduces the Razorpay UPI payment method for recurring (subscription-based) checkouts.

Eventin integrates the FluentCart checkout directly into its WordPress events calendar and event management plugin.

CMP

The new SureCookie Beta 2 lets you create and manage your cookie policy directly in the plugin. It also blocks type-module scripts, embeds and objects, and dynamically detects scripts based on consent status. You can customize the text in your preference modal, add translations and preview changes in real time. SureCookie Premium adds nine new dashboard languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Indonesian and Russian. Scan Quota Tracking lets you always know how many cookie scans are available on your plan.

WPConsent 1.1.5 introduces a brand-new Cookie Inspector tool. This tool navigates your site in the same way as a first-time visitor, capturing every cookie as it is set and tracing it back to the responsible script. Best of all, it gives you the power to document, categorize and block them. You can do all this without leaving the wizard.

Pabbly Email Marketing now offers Team Member Access Control. Now, you can invite your team members and specify exactly what they can see and do within your account.

CRM

WPFunnels releases a new integration with WP Fusion, enabling you to connect your preferred CRM to the funnel builder..

AI

ElevenLabs adds Studio Agent to ElevenCreative, an AI co-editor that is built directly into the Studio timeline (video). Brief the agent on what you need and it will build a first draft, placing clips, generating voiceovers and syncing sound effects to precise moments in your footage. You can then take over the timeline manually at any point, before handing control back.

Tutor LMS 4.0 Beta 4 introduces GDPR compliance and an AI-powered quiz creation tool, as well as an improved H5P experience for students.
