Pier #48 – MailerGlue, Juuno, Blockstudio, LearnDash, FastPixel & WP Travel Engine

Hi there,

Welcome to the 48th issue of The Pier. MailerGlue, an upcoming new project from the developers of NewsletterGlue (see The Pier #31), pushes its launch to summer 2024 as it will no longer be a self-hosted plugin but a SaaS. It will allow you to send email campaigns from your WordPress admin and later plugin notifications from WooCommerce and LearnDash, for example.

Convesio, a managed WordPress hosting provider, has acquired Growmatik, an omni-channel marketing automation platform. Also, Permira takes WordPress rival Squarespace private in $6.9bn deal.

Here is a selection of the latest and greatest blog posts we published this week on Ahoi.dev. You will also find some interesting industry news, the latest directory listings on The Port, job openings, and deals. Enjoy!

🤙 Juuno Digital Signage

Juuno has released version 1.0 of the Media Library for its digital signage platform, which allows you to add assets to a workspace media library for easy access across playlists. Many improvements such as drag and drop, better thumbnail management, empty states and warnings are still in progress. Note that attaching external sources is not part of this launch.
You can access the media library from image, slideshow and video apps.

Juuno comes at an affordable price of just $5 per screen per month.
