Welcome to the 83rd issue of The Pier. The Meta Box team has launched Meta Box Lite, which combines Meta Box with all the free extensions for the custom field plugin for WordPress, also known as the Framework for Dynamic Websites. It even includes the previously premium Meta Box Builder for free, which provides a visual interface for easily creating custom fields and dynamic content. Similar to Meta Box AIO, but for the free version.

Mauro from ACPT has kicked off the new year with a new WP Grid Builder integration. In other news, you can now add custom fields to WooCommerce orders and product variations.

Acquisition: group.one, owner of WP Rocket and Rank Math, has acquired GTmetrix, a popular website performance monitoring solution.

SurelyWP announces a new recurring services feature for Services for SureCart coming soon.

SyncPA sends real-time SureCart order notifications directly to your Discord channel. The Pro version allows you to manage your orders from within your Discord channel, including confirming payments, updating order status, marking items as fulfilled, and even entering shipping details.

Remote Work & Video Conferencing

Cosmos announces Space Builder in beta, allowing you to create fully custom spaces. Also new is Spotlight Mode, which allows admins and members to pin videos for everyone in a call.

Claspo adds over 40 new languages and dialects to its AI-powered translations, as well as alerts in widget settings and the dashboard to flag integration issues.
