Ploi Introduces New CVE Insights & Server Insight Notifications

The Ploi team has just introduced CVE insights, server insight notifications, and a fresh new status page design to its user-friendly server management tool.

CVE Insights

The new server insight scans for common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs). It automatically scans Composer packages across all your sites and checks them against a database of known security vulnerabilities. If any of your dependencies have reported CVEs, they will appear in your Insights dashboard, along with details of the affected package, its severity and the recommended actions.

You can then review the affected packages and their safe versions, update your dependencies to patch the vulnerabilities, and mark the insights as fixed once you have addressed them.

This feature is only available with Ploi Pro plans and above.

Server Insight Notifications

When you visit the Insights section of your server, you will also see a new Notifications tab. Here, you can select the types of notifications you would like to receive when new insights are added. You can create notifications for each server and priority type!

New Status Page Design

The developers at Ploi also took the opportunity to create a new design for the status page and fix some bugs, including adding a dark mode toggle for users.
