SEOPress Pro Now Integrates With OpenAI
The folks at SEOPress have just announced an integration with OpenAI. The Pro version of the WordPress SEO plugin now allows you to automatically generate meta titles and descriptions using AI.
OpenAI Integration
The first iteration of this groundbreaking new feature allows you to automatically generate both meta titles and meta descriptions based on the content of your post, page, or custom post type. All from within the SEO metabox.
They even provide a bulk action to generate them via AI. The following languages are supported: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
In the second iteration, released in mid-February, SEOPress improved the user experience and added support for the Universal SEO Metabox and Bricks Builder.
In the third iteration, released at the end of March, SEOPress added the GPT 3.5 Turbo model and is closely following the arrival of GPT 4.0. Stay tuned!
All you need is SEOPress Pro and an OpenAI API key. New OpenAI users receive $18 in free credits. Note that SEOPress does not charge anything for using the OpenAI API. Instead, they try to minimize the use of tokens as much as possible.
We think that the competitors of SEOPress will follow suit and also build a corresponding OpenAI integration into their SEO plugins for WordPress.
Internal Linking Suggestions
They have also released internal linking suggestions for the standard content analysis metabox. Previously only available for the universal SEO metabox, SEOPress Pro now comes with a new tab in the content analysis metabox that suggests up to 5 contents calculated using the TF-IDF (Term Frequency – Inverse Document Frequency) statistical weighting method.
Whatโs More?
In other news, Google Search Console metrics, including clicks, positions, CTR, and impressions, are now automatically retrieved on a daily basis.
Finally, SEOPress has also redesigned its 404 error alert emails. Instead of sending an email for every single detected error, you will now receive a weekly report via email. This will contain the top 10 404 errors and the last 10 listed.
Since version 6.5, SEOPress also supports a multi-domain setup for XML Sitemaps with WPML.
