Shopify: Announcing Same-day Deliveries via Postmates
Shopify have recently announced an integration with Postmates which allows US merchants to get their products into their customers’ hands faster than ever – in as little as an hour.

The Postmates same-day delivery service is available in more than 200 cities across the United States.
After your customers are choosing Postmates as their delivery method at checkout, you can request a pick up. Shortly after, a Postmates courier will deliver the order to your customer without any delays. Most importantly, there is no post office with long lines involved.
The Postmates on-demand delivery service can be activated in your Shopify shipping settings.
