Free Let’s Encrypt SSL Certs

As having a SSL cert is becoming really important – also in terms of SEO – SiteGround’s goal is to “increase the HTTPS usage among their customers”. For WordPress they provide a one-click HTTPS switch for existing websites while new WordPress installs will run via HTTPS out of the box. Also, their free free Cloudflare CDN plan is already supporting SSL.

Of course, these free SSL certificates will be available for Joomla or any other sites too. In order to get SSL up and running, Joomla sites need to be reconfigured though.
