Let’s take a quick look at the new features in Trustwards:

  • Multi-Language Support: A new element has been added to the builder called ‘Languages’. As soon as you add this to your banner or modal, all the text is automatically translated into the selected languages using OpenAI models to deliver high-quality results. You can also enable geolocation on the element to automatically display the banner and modal in the visitor’s native language. The proof of consent logs store text fields in the language in which consent was granted.
  • Policies: Complete a short questionnaire to automatically generate a Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy that are tailored to your website and fully aligned with GDPR. The policies also support multiple languages and geolocation.
  • DSAR Self-Service: Allow your visitors to view and easily export all their consent logs without needing to contact the website owner.
  • New Analytics, Scanner, Integrations & Proof of Consent Views: These views have all been redesigned to display much more useful data.
  • New Text & Button Animations: Trustwards has added underline, highlight, swap and ripple animations to text and button elements.

What’s Next?

Trustwards currently makes it easy to comply fully with the GDPR. The next version will introduce two new features, which are scheduled for release in early February:

  • Compliance Health: Check your compliance status based on your active regulations and see what you need to do to become fully compliant.
  • Regulations: Activate or deactivate regulations to automatically adapt everything related to your website, such as policies, self-service and front-end consent, to ensure compliance. More regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA and LGPD, will be added soon.

In other news, the Trustwards team is also working on a new WordPress plugin.
