Usermaven: New Traffic Exclusion Chrome Extension & Deeper User Insights
Waqar from Usermaven has just announced a new Traffic Exclusion Chrome extension, deeper user insights and an enhanced mobile experience for its privacy-friendly, cookieless and no-code web and product analytics platform.
Enhanced Mobile Experience
Due to popular demand, Usermaven has introduced a new optimized user interface and is now fully mobile responsive, providing a much smoother UX while on the go.
Deeper User Insights
In the Users view, Usermaven has added new tracking metrics including First Touch Point, First Viewed Page and Original UTM parameters. This allows you to gain more insight into your user journeys, understand their first point of interaction and discover which page first caught their attention.
Traffic Exclusion Chrome Extension
Previously, you could enter IP addresses that should be excluded from analytics in the Usermaven settings. However, with dynamic and changing IP addresses, this was subpar. That’s why they have finally introduced the new Traffic Exclusion extension for Chrome, which ensures that your metrics are not distorted by your own visits.
Simply install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, visit your site and enable it. The subsequent activity from admins and team members won’t be recorded in Usermaven.
What’s More?
Earlier this month, Usermaven added a new detailed view for Pinned Events (similar to the detailed view for Custom Events), a new onboarding flow for Product Insights and a new option to duplicate funnels.
