New Features

Voxel Toolkit now supports special hours, which allow a listing to override its standard opening hours for a specific date. This could be for a Christmas closure, a half-day or a one-off late opening, for example. It works in the same way as Google Business Profile.

Now, let’s take a look at the other new features.

  1. Service Area Search: Voxel’s location search asks “What’s near me?”, which is appropriate for a restaurant but not for a plumber. Now, each listing can set its own service radius, and will only appear when the visitor’s searched location falls inside it. Listings without a radius behave exactly as before.
  2. Response Time: @post(response_time) dynamic tags for message reply speed. You can display how quickly a listing responds to messages. This is tracked per listing rather than per account. For example, add ‘Usually replies within an hour’ to a card.
  3. Owner Review Replies: When an owner responds to a review, their response is published under the listing’s name and logo, accompanied by an ‘Owner Response’ badge.
  4. Message Details: A details sidebar showing who you’re talking to, as well as every image, file and link shared in the conversation. It covers the whole thread, not just what’s on screen.
  5. Message Moderation: Real-time screening of direct messages using keywords and AI. Screen messages for banned keywords or AI-flagged content before they are sent. You can then notify an admin, block the message, or both.
  6. AI Reply Suggestions: AI-suggested replies in the messages composer. One click offers ready-to-send replies based on the conversation in the original language.
  7. Search Analytics: Admin dashboard tracking visitor searches. See what visitors actually search for sitewide and per post type with the dashboard and Popular Searches widget. Terms with no results indicate content gaps.
  8. Invoice Generator: A ‘Download invoice’ button is available on every order for buyers, vendors and admins. The seller’s identity, logo and numbering are configurable.
  9. Search Radius (VT) Post Field: It gives each listing its own coverage radius, which is how far the business travels, delivers or serves.
  10. Popular Searches (VT) Widget: Shows trending search terms as chips (auto-enabled by Search Analytics).
  11. Order Reports (VT) Widget: The front-end sales dashboard shows revenue, order count, average order value, items sold, a trend chart, status breakdown and top products. Vendors can see their own dashboard, while admins can see the platform dashboard.
