W3 Total Cache Adds Scheduled Cache Purges, Full-Site Delivery, WPML & TranslatePress Integrations
The W3 Total Cache team has just released the December update for the WordPress caching plugin, introducing scheduled cache purges as well as new integrations with Full-Site Delivery, WPML and TranslatePress.
New Features
Let’s take a look at what’s new at W3 Total Cache:
- Reduce Server Load with Scheduled Cache Purges:
They have added new options for scheduling automatic cache purges via WP-Cron, giving you more control over how and when your caches are cleared. By scheduling the cache purge to occur at low traffic times, you can minimize any potential performance impact at peak times, especially for e-commerce sites and sites on shared hosting. - New WPML & TranslatePress Integrations:
W3 Total Cache Pro now integrates with WPML and TranslatePress, two popular multilingual plugins for WordPress. It efficiently handles multilingual content, making it easier to manage large multilingual websites. Visitors from around the world can enjoy faster page loads, improving user experience and search engine rankings.
Finally, W3 Total Cache has announced that it is the only WordPress caching plugin to integrate with Full-Site Delivery (FSD), allowing static and dynamic content to be served from CDN edge servers. This effectively helps to increase page speed!
