Weglot Now With New Pricing
Back in March 2022, Weglot had received a $50 million Series A funding round for its no-code website translation tool. Recently, new pricing plans finally went into effect, announced in October.
New Pricing Plans
Since launching in February 2016, Weglot has continuously evolved from a JavaScript snippet to a fully featured translation infrastructure solution with advanced editing tools.
The price change is the first since 2017 and reflects the significant progress and improvements made to Weglot over the past six years.
“Our pricing is being updated to reflect the ongoing evolution of Weglot over the past six years and the planned advancements that will be incorporated into the product and where we evolve in the future.“
– Augustin Prot, CEO of Weglot
Note that this pricing change will only affect new Weglot subscriptions or upgrades. Existing customers will be grandfathered into the old prices.
What’s More?
For specific language pairs, you can now set the machine translation tone in which you want your website to be translated, be it formal or informal. In addition, customers with a monthly plan can pause their subscription once a year.
Customers with a Weglot Pro subscription and higher get access to page view statistics providing insight into the location and browser language of your website visitors. Finally, customers who have more than one project can now see word usage and translation requests by project and URL.
