WP Umbrella just officially introduced automatic backups for their all-in-one WordPress management tool. They also released the roadmap for 2022 with some exciting upcoming features.

Automatic Backups

WP Umbrella now offers incremental automatic backups of your WordPress websites which will be saved for 60 days on European servers (GDPR compliant). Automatic backups can be scheduled on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. Note that you need to run the latest version of the plugin to use this feature.

If you need a full backup of your website immediately, they’ve got you covered too! You can create three manual backups per month, which are stored for 90 days.

Roadmap For 2022

They will introduce WordPress core and plugin update management accross several sites, 1-click restoration for backups, 1-click database optimization, and security monitoring for malware, vulnerabilities, and more.
