WP Rocket Revamps Preload Cache Feature

WP Rocket 3.12 has just arrived in orbit. The latest version of the popular WordPress caching plugin focuses on revamping the preload cache feature, making it more reliable and effective in improving the UX.

Improved Preload Cache

The preload cache simulates a visit to this page before an actual user session. That way, users get a faster page when they visit the site for the first time. This is really helpful because a bad first impression on your website can cause users to leave and never come back.

WP Rocket will always find a way to catch and preload all URLs. This happens in an asynchronous process that runs in the background, so there is nothing to block or slow down the preloading process.

Moreover, the “Preload Cache” feature now comes with only one option to preload all the URLs of the website. This means you no longer have to check two boxes for the homepage and the sitemap.

Remove Unused CSS Out Of Beta

With WP Rocket 3.12, the Remove Unused CSS feature has also finally been released from beta. This is one of the most effective options to easily improve the performance of your website.

With Remove Unused CSS, it’s easy to tackle CSS optimization, improve Core Web Vitals, and boost your PageSpeed Insights score.
