AIOSEO Introduces Content Rankings Report
In version 4.3.6, AIOSEO has added a new Content Rankings report to the Search Statistics module of the WordPress SEO plugin. It allows you to easily track the performance of your content on search engine results pages (SERPs).
New Content Rankings Report
The new Content Rankings report in AIOSEO provides insight into the performance of your content on search engine results pages (SERPs) over the last 12 months.
The Content Rankings report highlights key SEO and content marketing metrics such as:
- Last Updated On: Displays the date a URL was last updated. Easily track the impact of any changes you make to a particular page or post on your WordPress site.
- Loss: Shows the rate at which your content is decaying. Based on their proprietary content decay algorithm, which takes into account an article’s impressions and clickthrough rates (CTR).
- Decay (%): The percentage drop/gain in content decay points.
- Performance score: A visual overview of your content’s performance over the last 12 months.
The report also gives you detailed SEO data on the URL of a page or post, including Headline Score, TrueSEO Score, page load speed, a link report from Link Assistant, SEO metadata, redirects and SEO performance.
In addition, the Content Rankings report also includes a Keyword Performance section, which shows all the keywords for which your page ranks. This includes those that are performing well and those that are falling in the rankings.
You can use the AIOSEO Content Rankings report to monitor content decay. Losing rankings in the SERPs can happen for many reasons. For example, the content may be outdated, irrelevant, or outranked by newer and better content. The good news is that you can now reduce the impact of content decay by identifying it quickly and updating your content.
