New Features

Beaver Builder 2.9 is packed with new features. Let’s dive right in:

  • Multi-Layer Backgrounds:
The standout feature in this release is the new multi-layer background field. Finally, you can stack different background elements such as colours, gradients and images all in one seamless interface. Available for rows, columns and the Box module, this feature opens up endless possibilities for creating stunning visual effects without touching a line of code. Even better, a future update will allow you to save these layered combinations for reuse across multiple projects.
  • Enhanced Colour Control:
The colour picking experience has been completely redesigned so you can get exactly the look you want without compromising. It includes support for all CSS colour expressions, including HEX, RGB and HSL, as well as a new gradient picker with unlimited colour stops and advanced blending options for perfect colour transitions.
  • Modules Meet Blocks:
WordPress Block Editor users, rejoice! Beaver Builder modules can now be used as Gutenberg blocks, giving you the best of both worlds. Currently supported modules include accordion, box, countdown, icon, map, posts, post slider, pricing table, tabs and more.
  • New Loop Module:
For Beaver Themer users, the new Loop module is a game changer – allowing you to create custom loop layouts, design dynamic content displays and build flexible taxonomy-based loops. It also works with ACF repeaters.

In other news, performance gets a significant boost in Beaver Builder 2.9 through cleaner code with removed wrapper divs and optimised queries for faster backend operations. Finally, you can use container modules as top-level elements.
