Better Uptime just added a couple of new features to their infrastructure monitoring platform that will make maintenance a bit easier for you. Say hello to maintenance windows and integration pausing. They also announced some great news for everyone using Cloudflare!

Maintenance Windows

Are you planning maintenance with a team that is spread across several time zones? The new maintenance window scheduling allows you to select a time zone so everyone can sync to the same time!

You can set up your maintenance window at Monitor > Configure > Advanced settings.

Integration Pausing

Do you need to make some setup changes in your integrations? Now you can easily pause and unpause your integrations and keep your reporting data clean in Better Uptime.

This also comes in quite handy during maintenance work, as you keep your logs clean by stopping the monitors.

Cloudflare’s Good Bots

Are you using Cloudflare as your CDN provider? Better Uptime just got listed as a known good bot, which means that traffic from their monitors is now allowed by default.

You can still allow their User-Agent, just to be on the safe side.
