Let’s find out what’s new in FigPress 0.2:

  • Support for gradients, including backgrounds and text.
  • Relative position support.
  • Tooltips in settings: If you don’t know/forgot what a setting does, this is faster than going to the docs.
  • Account management: if you want to log out or go to your account.
  • Styles adjustments: Minor adjustments related to flex rows in Gutenberg.
  • Variables fallback to styleID: Some Figma libraries are still using the old variables approach that Figma had, while FigPress only converted to the new variables system. This is the case for Untitled UI.

What’s next? FigPress 0.3 will be the last beta version to include support for grids and multiple properties. FigPress 1.0 will then start to introduce the first native elements for WordPress builder plugins, including support for Dancepad for Breakdance and Next Bricks.
