FluentCart Now Supports Product Videos
Jewel from FluentCart has just added support for product videos to its e-commerce plugin for WordPress, which is powered by FluentPlayer.
New Features

FluentCart’s goal is to be conversion-focused and accessible to all. Video support in the product gallery is one way of achieving this. For many products, a short video is more effective than any written content, and now you can finally use one.
Once you have installed the free FluentPlayer version, a Video tab will appear in the gallery dialog. Simply paste a YouTube or Vimeo link, a direct video URL or an item from your FluentPlayer library. You can then drag it among your images, where it will play inline in place of the main image. Place it at the top to ensure it is the first thing people see when the page loads.
If video is going to be a key part of your sales strategy, FluentPlayer Pro is worth a look:
- You can host your videos on Bunny, Cloudflare Stream, Mux or Gumlet. There will be no YouTube branding on your product page, and no ‘up next’ videos will pull people away from your checkout.
- Add a call to action, form or email capture inside the video itself.
- See which videos people actually watch and where they stop watching so you can tell which product video is earning its place.
- It also offers playlists, chapters and connections to FluentCRM, Fluent Forms and FluentCommunity.
In other news, your FluentCart-powered staging site can no longer bill your live customers. Test mode blocks renewals, scheduled charges, and reminder emails.
