FluentCommunity Introduces New FluentPlayer Integration & Real-Time Messaging

Jewel from FluentCommunity has launched version 2.2.0 of the WordPress community plugin, introducing a new FluentPlayer integration, revamped real-time messaging and Gutenberg-powered lesson editor.

Let’s find out what’s new in FluentCommunity:

• New FluentPlayer Integration:
  WPManageNinja’s new video player is built from scratch. Upload content directly, customize it to your liking and keep it secure. It can even reskin YouTube and Vimeo embeds.
• Real-Time Messaging:
  The Messaging module has been completely rewritten. Enjoy instant chat via Pusher or any socket service. There are no delays or need for refreshing.
• Rebuilt Lesson Editor:
  The new Gutenberg-powered lesson editor allows you to drag and drop sections, add quizzes with passing grades, and attach documents. You can also enable per-lesson discussions and choose between self-paced and drip content delivery. You can also use our new FluentPlayer to host your videos.
• Profile Privacy Controls:
  You now have full control over profile privacy. You can choose who can see your profile.
• Comment Pinning:
  Admins and moderators can now pin important comments to the top of any discussion. This is great for guidelines, clarifications and announcements.

In other news, FluentCommunity has released a new card layout view. You can now hover over any @mention to instantly view user information and add users to Spaces or Courses directly from their profile. Finally, comments and reactions now appear live with no need to refresh.
