FlyingPress Rolls Out Smart Link Preloading

Gijo from FlyingPress has just announced the release of the new Smart Link Preloading feature for their WordPress speed optimization plugin, which is a great alternative to WP Rocket.

No one likes a slow website, so website speed is critical to the user experience. The new Smart Link Preloading feature in FlyingPress improves the UX by making navigation lightning fast. By predicting where users are going to click, it preloads those pages in advance for a seamless browsing experience.

Check out the key benefits:

  • Instant Page Loads: Near-zero Time to First Byte (TTFB) means faster access to content.
  • Smooth User Experience: Smooth transitions keep visitors engaged and satisfied.
  • Enhanced Performance: Real-world gains in Core Web Vitals, including faster Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), benefit actual users.

On desktop devices, hovering over a link will preload nearby links. A longer hover will preload the entire page, ensuring instant loading when clicked. On mobile devices, FlyingPress preloads all visible links in the viewport as you scroll.

What’s More?

In other news, FlyingPress is now compatible with hosting providers powered by WP.Cloud. They have also added a new option to host third party CSS and JS locally for specified CDN domains.
