HeySummit: New Dubb Integration, Multiple Speakers & Custom CSS Support

Once again, HeySummit released a ton of updates for their online summit platform. Say hello to a shiny new Dubb integration, custom CSS, better SEO markup, and much more.

New Features

• Affiliate Reporting Improvements
  They made a series of improvements to the way reports are generated for affiliates. It’s now easier for affiliates to check their performance. Also, there’s now an automatic monthly affiliate payout report which helps you figuring out the payment breakdown of your affiliates’ commissions.
• Much Faster Event Creation
  Previously creating an event took up to 60 seconds while HeySummit populated demo content for you. Now it’s much faster!
• Improved Ratings SEO Markup
  The way your pages are marked up for SEO has been improved. This includes SEO ratings markup for replay pages (when voting is enabled) to help increase search engine exposure.
• Clone & Delete Events!
  You are now able to clone or permanently delete an event. Starting today, manually re-creating all your settings is a thing of the past. When cloning an event in HeySummit, all your summit settings and content are cloned except for speakers, talks, and attendees. When deleting an event you will lose all data including attendees, settings, and talks. There’s absolutely no way to retrieve that data.
• New Dubb Integration
  Dubb, a popular video hosting platform, can now be used for your replays and pre-recorded summits.
• Instagram Accounts For Speakers
  Your speakers can now add their Instagram accounts to their speaker dashboard.
• Custom CSS
  If you want to change the look and feel of your summit landing page, you can now add custom CSS to HeySummit at Event Settings, Branding & Content. At the bottom, you’ll find the custom CSS box.
• Multiple Speakers Per Talk
  You are now able to associate multiple speakers with a single talk, e.g. for panel discussions and Q&A. Also, you’ll get some graphics illustrating that multiple speakers are involved.
• Landing Page Builder
  It’s now easier to re-order blocks. Your default colour is now used instead of the multi-coloured blocks for the countdown timer.
