HeySummit: New Theme, Donations & Direct Refunds

Shortly after introducing the new Speaker Network, Ben from HeySummit has announced the February update for their event platform, introducing a new creative theme, donations, direct refunds, and much more.

New Theme & Page Editor Updates

Previously, HeySummit had only one customizable theme. Now they have introduced a new creative theme that will help your event stand out and look great without having to do any editing. Just like the existing theme, however, the new theme comes with a wide range of editing options.

Along with the new theme, they’ve also made a number of updates to the landing page editor to make it even easier to create engaging landing pages.

Donations

HeySummit now offers event organizers a new way to support non-profit initiatives or raise funds for specific causes. You can now easily integrate donation options into your event’s ticketing process, allowing organizers to support internal or external fundraising efforts.

Direct Refunds

HeySummit has also introduced the ability for event organizers to issue refunds directly from within the platform. This new feature streamlines the refund process, significantly improving the management of sales and the attendee experience. Once a ticket is refunded, it’s automatically invalidated, eliminating the need for manual follow-up.

Content Insights & Referral Sources Reports

The Content Insights report now provides a more comprehensive view of your event’s engagement metrics, giving you deeper insights into attendee behaviour and content effectiveness. Specifically, how many attendees attended a live broadcast or event replay and how long they watched on average.

HeySummit has also introduced a new report that allows event organizers to track attendee registrations based on referral sources and marketing attribution tags. This enhancement is designed to give you greater insight into the marketing effectiveness of your event.

What’s More?

In other news, HeySummit now allows you to add animated GIFs to emails sent from the platform. QR code checkins now allow you to optionally check an attendee into a specific session or talk, rather than the entire event. You can now also manually add attendees directly from the dashboard. Finally, attendees can now add an optional profile photo.
