Merchant Introduces Optional Add-ons in Frequently Bought Together

Charlie from Merchant has just announced the release of optional add-ons in Frequently Bought Together, smarter product bundles, flexible free gifts and more for the all-in-one WooCommerce plugin.

Let’s find out what’s new in Merchant and Merchant Pro 2.1.0:

• Optional Add-ons in Frequently Bought Together:
  The new checkboxes allow your customers to mix and match and personalise their bundles, while you benefit from higher conversions and increased AOV. You can find this setting under ‘Offer products as optional’.
• Smarter Product Bundles:
  You can now apply discounts per product (not just per bundle) and set min/max quantity restrictions for the bundle.
• Flexible Free Gifts:
  You can now choose how gifts are claimed – automatically or manually once the spending threshold is reached.
• Smarter Bulk Discounts:
  You can now control how many offers appear at checkout, useful when multiple campaigns are applicable at the same time.

Finally, Merchant has improved the recently launched Complementary Products module by introducing a new compact layout for a cleaner look and feel, and smarter exclusion logic.
