Welcome to the 101st issue of The Pier. Version 1.5.1 of Studio by WordPress dot com has added support for setting your preferred code editor and terminal application within its free local development tool for WordPress sites.

Hot: Dynamic Toolbox for Bricks from Dynamic dot ooo is currently in alpha and comes with dynamic elements, advanced integrations and smart form fields. Lifetime plans are available!

Price Increase: On 26 May, Independent Analytics will be increasing its prices. Both annual and lifetime licences will continue to be offered, and the new pricing structure will not affect any existing subscriptions.

Exciting: Jewel from WPManageNinja has announced that FluentAffiliate will be officially released mid-next month. This lightweight affiliate management plugin for WordPress comes with one-click integration of WooCommerce, EDD, SureCart and WP EasyCart.

New Direction: The goal of PublishPress Blocks is to provide a comprehensive set of management tools for Gutenberg blocks.

👋 Claspo ❤️ User Targeting

Claspo now supports the targeting of returning visitors, enabling you to display widgets to visitors who have already been to your site, offering them a “Welcome back!” discount or a special offer.

Thanks to the new display rules based on local storage, you can now specify when a widget appears based on what a user has already seen or done on your site.

Finally, Claspo now also allows you to target users based on your site’s cookies to create context-aware experiences. For instance, you could use a Product View Count cookie to display a special offer after X product views.

Elegant Themes releases Attribute Management for Divi 5. This feature allows you to selectively or collectively copy, paste and reset attributes across elements.

Droip introduces Base, its brand new starter theme for WordPress.

Schema Pro now supports vehicle listing schema markup.

With Divi 5’s Loop Builder, you can create new post-based content by looping sections, rows, columns, modules and sub-elements.

SleekPixel 1.1.1 introduces new white-label options.

Meta Box releases MB Builder 5.0.0 Beta, which introduces left-side panels containing all the field, structure, and setting panels. New features also include inline label editing and improved performance.

WP SiteLauncher announces plans to develop a public API and automation options, including support for Zapier, Make, Pabbly Connect, and Ottokit.

Amelia 8.3 introduces social login/signup via Facebook and Google, including for front-end forms and customer custom fields. It also includes the option to allow admins to book over an existing appointment. Currently in beta: IvyForms, their new WordPress form builder plugin.

FluentBoards 1.6.0 introduces Subtask Groups, offering a smarter way to organize your subtasks into clearly defined sections.

WooCommerce announces that it has chosen Square as its preferred point-of-sale (POS) solution for in-person payments.

SureCart 3.8.5 adds compatibility with JetEngine.

Lightfunnels announces a new AI image generator in beta. This tool allows you to transform a basic product photo into a beautiful, styled image (video).

Hosting

Elementor Hosting has a new name and a new plan structure. Say hello to Elementor Host!

StellarSites is a quick and easy way to build a beautiful WordPress website. It includes built-in hosting, security and design tools, as well as pre-installed premium plugins.

xCloud will soon allow you to connect your pCloud account for easy, secure website backups.

SEOPress 8.8 now allows you to import global settings from Rank Math.
