Welcome to the 132nd issue of The Pier. Ovidiu from WPCodeBox has announced his latest project, PhantomWP. This allows you to create headless WordPress sites using Astro. Watch this video to find out more.

Finally: Amelia 9.0 has finally arrived, introducing a UI/UX overhaul, light and dark modes, one-click scheduling, event analytics and built-in guidance, as well as a bookings page. The appointments and bookings pages have been expanded to include all services, events and packages in one place for easier management.

Great: FigPress 0.3 now supports grids, opacity and overflow hidden for clipped content. 👋 Nora AI for Dynamic Shortcodes

Dynamic dot ooo has released Nora, its new AI agent for Dynamic Shortcodes, which is now available in beta. Nora simplifies the creation of complex dynamic shortcodes and helps users output and manipulate dynamic data from tools such as ACF, Meta Box and ACPT, as well as across major page builders including Elementor, Breakdance, Bricks and Gutenberg.

WordPress

Voxel Toolkit announces a new Route widget for Voxel, supporting both post relations and repeaters, which will be available in version 1.6.0. Other new features will include Saved Search, Social Proof, External Link Warning, RSVP, Message Moderation, Post Comparison, an Enhanced Text Editor and a Timeline Filter for Unanswered Posts.

With Automatic.css 4 (ACSS), you will be able to fully style blockquote elements. You can either apply an automatic style or use a utility class.

Elegant Themes introduces Divi Canvases, which make it easy to create off-canvas menus, pop-ups and canvas portals. A canvas is a detached workspace from your main post content.

EventKoi releases version 1.1.0.0 of its Elementor integration (see The Pier #130). The Event Data widget can now be used to display event details wherever desired, while the Event Calendar widget allows calendars to be visually embedded. The update also includes event data support in Elementor dynamic tags for flexible templating. To improve the onboarding experience, there is now a quick-start plugin tour and onboarding hints to guide you through the first-time setup process.

Convertful introduces Hosted Widgets. Even if you don’t have your own website or blog, you can create and share widgets with your audience using a simple link.

LMS / E-Learning

Creator LMS adds a new WPBakery integration, allowing you to easily design your course pages using the page builder. It is also easy to migrate from LearnPress to Creator LMS.

SEO

SureRank 1.6.0 now supports LocalBusiness schema for single and multiple locations, as well as Google indexing. New or updated pages can now be submitted for indexing more quickly. In other news, you can now receive an easy-to-read, clean (white-label) summary with insights into your site’s performance directly from Google Search Console to your inbox.

Video Hosting

Bunny Stream introduces Smart Chapters, which automatically generates chapters for your videos. You can even control it programmatically via the API.

Job Boards

In the job industry, there is a trend for remote roles to be only available to people based in the country in question. This is why an optional new field called ‘location limits’ has been added to Job Boardly‘s XML importer. This allows you to restrict remote roles to specific regions, such as ‘Remote US’ or ‘Remote Europe’.

WhatsApp Automation

Pabbly Chatflow now allows users to open external links directly from flows by adding link buttons to Text Button and Media Button messages. The Continue Flow feature has also been expanded, enabling your flows to progress automatically, without requiring user interaction.

Link Management

Replug launches City-Level Traffic Routing Rules, which allow you to redirect users based on their city, send users to the nearest store or branch page, show city-specific deals or pricing and match landing pages with local ads.

With the new Asana integration from Blitzit, you can turn your projects into actionable tasks without having to switch tools and lose focus.

With the launch of Explore, ElevenLabs Music enables you to discover, remix and reprompt your perfect composition. New features also include stem separation, inpainting, improved lyric generation, precise lyric timestamps, song uploads and full composition plans (beta).
