Welcome to the 133rd issue of The Pier. The new Class Manager in Ollie Pro allows you to create and manage custom CSS classes directly in the block editor. It features an intuitive interface, pseudo-state support and smart loading.

Video Calling ❤️ Customer Support: Gleap now enables you to initiate video calls directly from the customer support widget. They have also integrated ChatGPT 5.2 (for deep reasoning) and Gemini 3 Flash (for speed) into the platform.

Sneak Peek I: WP Social Ninja has announced an exciting set of new features for 2026, including a Social Wall, post share buttons, analytics and reporting, and new templates and layouts.

Sneak Peek II: Donald from Code Wattz has released a full preview of Voxel Events for Voxel-powered WordPress directories. You will also be able to schedule tickets to go on sale at a specific date and time. In related news, you will be able to send messages to any group of attendees for any event, either immediately or on a specific date before or after the event.

Exciting: Bit Apps has announced its first SaaS product, due to be released in 2026. It will be a form-based checkout platform, not a form builder, with modules for eCommerce, donations and fundraising, event ticket sales, and more. Coming in Q3: a new CRM plugin, not an email marketing plugin.

👋 Multi-Languages Code Block

PinkDocs is a new alternative to BetterDocs and has introduced a new Multi-Language Code Block in version 1.1.4. This allows you to display the same code example in multiple languages inside a single block, including JavaScript, Python, PHP, cURL, Go, Java and C#. You can also ask AI to explain the code.

They have also added a new import/export feature for documents in JSON format, with category selection, as well as syntax highlighting and line numbers for code blocks.

In version 1.1.5, OpenRouter support has been added, allowing you to use 100+ AI models, including Claude, Gemini and Llama, alongside OpenAI.

WordPress

SureForms announces that a new PayPal integration for payment forms will be available soon. There will also be conditional confirmation messages based on form responses, as well as more native integrations, including with Google Sheets, MailerPress, Notion and Zoho CRM.

Novashare 1.6.4 adds a new share button for Mistral AI.

Voxel 1.7.4 introduces the ability to manually define variations in variable products and adds a new ‘Downloads’ module to booking products.

ACPT 2.0.49 enables emails to be sent after a form has been submitted.

BricksSync announces a completely redesigned dashboard with a built-in getting started and setup guide. It also offers ready-to-use one-click example workflows, as well as clear explanations and recommended settings.

Kreytive Kits is a new library comprising 14+ Etch components with ACSS support. It is container-aware and not viewport-dependent as well as mobile-first by default and accessible. It’s free as of now.

E-Commerce

Marketing for SureCart 1.6.1 adds support for an active cart badge on SureCart shop and archive pages.

ConvesioPay for Shopify Plus is a custom-built payments integration designed for regulated industries and high-volume merchants who do not qualify for Shopify Payments. Unlike headless, redirect-based or third-party checkouts, which reduce conversion rates, ConvesioPay runs as a Shopify Plus custom app, preserving the native Shopify checkout experience that customers expect.

Automation

Pabbly Connect introduces an AI Code Generator to the Code module. Describe the code you need and the AI will generate it instantly.

Uptime Monitoring

Neeraj from Pabbly Connect recently open-sourced the Pabbly Uptime Monitoring Service. Available on GitHub, version 1.2.0 now supports grouping. You can create groups and list multiple services under one group. This is useful if you have multiple applications or websites to track and want to organize them into different groups easily.

LMS / E-Learning

Klasio announces its support for new business models for 2026, including subscriptions, memberships, bundles and learning paths. Other new features will include multilingual support, tax management, additional payment options, GDPR compliance, SCORM support, and enhanced WordPress compatibility.

SEO

SureRank has announced an upcoming set of new features, including additional fields for schema and role manager. Breadcrumbs will help visitors and search engines to understand your site structure better, offering cleaner navigation and a simple setup.

Laravel

Laravel TOON introduces a token-optimized, YAML-like format that flattens nested JSON into a compact ‘header + rows’ structure. This helps you to reduce LLM payload size by 40–60%. It is a natural fit for Laravel MCP tool responses and other AI context use cases.

Email Marketing

Sender improves its email builder by introducing premade section templates. You can now add sections and blocks instantly to the canvas, resize images without leaving it, and enjoy improved spot text editing. Sections and blocks now have their own labels and colours, as well as intuitive, unified handles.

Formbricks now supports variables and hidden fields in follow-up emails, enabling you to personalize messages and pass context directly from survey responses without any additional setup. You can also set a custom logo for each survey and edit all answer options for single-select and multi-select questions in bulk. Also new: support for Swedish!

Origits announces that Minute-Based Billing will launch on 20 January 2026. Thanks to improvements to their infrastructure, they are now able to offer multiple LTD tiers with up to 750k minutes per month.
