Welcome to the 135th issue of The Pier. Claspo has introduced Treasure Hunt, a new gamified format in which visitors must find a hidden reward within a limited number of attempts. This format builds curiosity and anticipation, naturally driving engagement and increasing sales — with a strong spillover into revenue of up to 11% CTR.

Launch I: SureContact, the new cloud-based email marketing and CRM platform, is now available on the WordPress repository.

Launch II: Divi 5 is scheduled for official release on 26 February.

SureDash 1.6 introduces deeper integration with SureMembers and the long-awaited leaderboard feature. The unread post count is now also displayed in the Discussion Posts space in the portal.

MailerPress 1.2 offers native integrations with Elementor and Bricks, and supports ESP (Email Service Provider) APIs, enabling automatic detection of hard bounces. New features also include post-confirmation and post-unsubscribe redirects.

ACPT 2.0.50 introduces form submission via the API, as well as a new option to redirect to a specific post or archive page after form submission. New features include support for repeater fields in Rank Math and SEOPress, and support for media fields in Rank Math, Slim SEO and SEOPress.

PinkDocs 1.2 adds support for multiple knowledge bases, access restrictions for knowledge bases and “Related Posts” below each article.

OneTap 6.12.0 now allows you to enable or disable languages for the accessibility plugin individually in the settings.

Voxel Toolkit 1.6.1 introduces image optimization and bulk image optimization for Voxel-powered directories.

The new Installment Payments add-on from WP Travel Engine breaks down trip costs into manageable installments.

Gato AI Translations for Polylang 16.0 now supports custom prompts and menu translation

Instagram Widget Pro 1.3 now allows you to display Stories directly on your website. You can also monitor your Instagram performance in WordPress.

uiXpress 1.2.16 Beta introduces a new custom post type, custom fields and a custom option page builder. These features store your custom post types, field configurations, etc. in JSON files, meaning there is no performance hit from querying the database.

E-Commerce

Woohoo Filters 1.3 brings custom queries for the main query, Leaflet map integration, as well as range, date and off-canvas filters. New features include custom query parameters, colour swatches and image-based filtering.

Orderable 1.20.0 now enables you to stop customers from placing orders when you’re closed, eliminating the need for workarounds. They will see a clear message at checkout informing them of your reopening time.
Last orders are accepted up until the final minute before closing time.

ThriveCart launches ThriveIQ, a new AI support agent designed to provide faster and more responsive assistance with everything from creating order bumps and upsells to logging in and launching (video). There are also eight new local payment methods, such as Cash App Pay, Revolut and BLIK.

SEO

With SureRank Free, you can now choose to receive monthly email summaries containing traffic details such as clicks and impressions. You can also edit the AI-generated metadata before publishing. SureRank Premium introduces synced breadcrumbs that are aligned with the post’s BreadcrumbList schema, offering extensive theme support and flexible shortcodes. Support for archive meta templates is also included.

OttoKit 1.1.18 releases new JetAppointment integration.

Growfund 1.0.3 adds a username field to the registration form, as well as login support via username.

Web Development

WorkOS offers enterprise SSO, directory sync, RBAC and audit logs via simple APIs and a hosted admin portal that can be integrated with any identity provider. The first million (MAUs) are free.

Taylor Otwell releases a new plugin for Claude Code that focuses on Laravel and brings automated code cleanup directly into Laravel and PHP workflows.

Uptime Monitoring

Pulsetic now supports SSO, enabling your team to access accounts via a centralized identity provider. You can also import and export status page subscribers and add an additional custom domain to your status page. Users of the Organisation plan now have access to up to five years of historical monitoring data.
