Pier #176 – FluentCart Adds Shippo, FluentCommunity Brings Course Certificates, Presto Capture & Etchedy Debut, Breakdance 3.0 Launches

Welcome to the 176th issue of The Pier. FluentCommunity has announced the upcoming release of course certificates featuring a best-in-class visual builder. This drag-and-drop editor offers six starter designs, and you can also upload your own artwork and add text. The certificate is generated as soon as a student finishes the course. Additionally, it comes with QR code-based verification. Each certificate has a public page and a QR code with live status information read from your database, so a fake PDF cannot be created.

Last Day: Today is the last day to get your hands on the FluentCart LTD. Shippo will be the first live shipping integration to launch as a beta, similar to what SureCart is already offering (see The Pier #167). It will support live carrier rates at checkout, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, Royal Mail, Canada Post and Australia Post, among others. You will be able to buy labels from the order screen with your preferred carrier or cheapest rate already selected. The good news is that your own shipping methods, such as flat rate and local pickup, will remain.

Launch: Presto Capture is a new all-in-one video & audio recording add-on for Presto Player. Currently in beta.

People comment on what they see in your post, not your caption. Replient.ai understands this, too: it examines every image and watches and listens to your videos, then writes replies that fit the post (video).

Here’s how it works:

Videos of up to five minutes long are watched in full with the sound on. Everything that’s said is transcribed. Longer videos are read from their transcript.

Every image is analyzed – a carousel is read slide by slide. The AI also identifies the language of the post, writes a short summary and selects categories from your post tags.

Click the ‘AI post analysis’ tab under a post to view the summary, categories, ‘What the AI saw’ and the full transcript, which open right next to the post.

Breakdance 3.0 has left beta and is ready for production. You can now use your AI agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP-speaking agent — to build and manage Breakdance and WordPress websites. Simply tell the agent what you want to build, and it will create the necessary pages, templates, headers, footers, selectors, variables, responsive styles and dynamic data. You can instruct the agent to build the entire site, work on it yourself in the builder, or do both.

In addition to AI, version 3.0 introduces interactions, variables, a new selector system and a faster builder.

FluentAuth 3.1.0 introduces Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection to the sign-up, login and password reset forms, as well as to WooCommerce account forms.

Reviso 1.7.3 introduces resizable mobile and tablet previews, as well as a list of feedback from every device. Selecting a comment restores its device view, which makes it easier to work through responsive changes.

Arian from Voxel and VX Framework announces that Shader can now create block themes in addition to classic themes.

WordPress & WooCommerce Search

Elevated Extensions releases Site Search and Product Search 1.2.0, which has undergone significant internal development to improve performance on sites with large amounts of content. There is also new and improved fuzzy matching.

Web Analytics

With Usermaven, you can now review AI bot traffic by name and category. There are also separate controls for excluding AI bots from your analytics.

E-Commerce, Donations & A/B Testing

The Phox Woo Builder comes with 113 ‘atomic’ WooCommerce elements, allowing you to design your site exactly how you want it. Launch version available for Breakdance and Oxygen. Support for Bricks will follow very soon.

BoxIntellect is an AI-powered plugin for WooCommerce that assists with box packing and product dimensions.

EU Warranty Ready identifies products with missing warranty details, adds them to WooCommerce and maintains a record of each new order.

QuixWP Renewal Scheduler adds calendar-based renewal dates, controlled timing of the initial payment, migration tools and renewal monitoring to WooCommerce Subscriptions.

Appointment Bookings

The free Staff Commission plugin turns completed Amelia appointments into a monthly compensation report.

LatePoint 5.7.6 adds support for an Events Waiting List.

With WPTimetics Pro 1.0.46, you can send WhatsApp notifications whenever a booking is updated.

Affiliate & Referral Marketing

FluentAffiliate 1.7.0 now supports PayPal Payouts. You can now pay everyone in a payout at once and the statuses will update automatically. Thanks to the new commission holding period, new referrals have to wait a few days before receiving a payout, meaning that you won’t pay for an order that gets refunded.

With Partnero, you can now run one-off or recurring contests that rank partners based on referrals or revenue over a period of your choosing. They can follow the leaderboard and see past winners right in their portal.

SEO

SEOPress 10.4 improves the cookie banner, allowing visitors to opt in to analytics and advertising separately. Each Google Consent Mode v2 signal follows its own category. New instant indexing provides a history of every submitted URL (manual and automatic, Google and IndexNow), accessible via the History tab and a per-post view in the metabox.

Mosaic now supports the following SEO plugins: Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and Slim SEO (video).

CRM

With FluentCRM 3.3, you can see all your email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns on one calendar, including drafts and recurring ones.

Bit CRM 1.3.2 offers faster navigation and smarter tax handling, as well as improvements to address management and API support. Tax rates can now be applied automatically based on country, state, and tax class. Taxes are listed by name on invoices and EU reverse charge is supported for verified VAT numbers. Also, you can now store and display tax IDs for contacts, companies, and your own business on invoices.

AI SRE

Better Stack AI SRE is now available right inside Claude! Investigate incidents, fix errors automatically, and set up monitoring tailored to your code and telemetry, all from Claude. Watch this video to find out more.

Events

EventKoi 1.4.9.0 introduces ticket modal links and styling for the event data block, as well as export fields.

WP Super Events is a new event booking plugin for WordPress. It allows you to create event calendars, take bookings and sell tickets.

SeriesKeeper is an upcoming add-on for the free The Events Calendar plugin. It provides a recurring events feature and costs $49 for the first year.

Link Management

In Replug, every destination is now checked when you save a link and scanned again in the background. This includes links to your Bio Link page, A/B test variants, traffic routing rules and deep links. This helps to prevent phishing and hidden redirects, ensuring that your branded domains maintain a clean reputation. If an item on your Bio Link page is hidden for safety reasons, the editor shows you which item it is and explains why it has been hidden.

Customer Support

With Fluent Support 2.4.7, tickets are now opened twice as quickly, and long conversations are up to five times faster. The ticket list now opens with a ‘Ticket Filters’ sidebar showing a live count. There is also a smart customer search, and you can now answer tickets on the go from mobile devices.

Laravel

Herd 2.0 brings a new applications window, Herd Studio, worktree support, automatic artisan dev support, Laravel Cloud support, self-healing, and more!

WhatsApp Automation

Pabbly Chatflow introduces a new free WhatsApp link and QR code generator. It allows you to turn your WhatsApp number into a click-to-chat link and QR code in seconds.

Email Marketing

Shopify merchants can now re-engage with shoppers who add a product to their cart but then leave the shop before completing their purchase. This new abandoned cart automation works alongside MailerLite‘s abandoned checkout automation, which is triggered when someone visits the checkout page but leaves without buying anything.

MailerPress 2.2 features a redesigned interface and an email editor with a similar feel to the block editor. There is also a new WooCommerce tab on each contact showing their orders, total spend, current cart, top products, and revenue generated by your emails.

Pabbly Email Marketing introduces one-click domain verification.
