👋 New: AI, Multilingual & SEO

Loïc from Unblock has just released version 1.0.0-rc.4. The AI assistant has been part of Unblock since the beginning, but it was only accessible via the editor. Now, your own AI client can communicate directly with your site.

The new MCP tab allows you to install the adapter with one click and provides the configuration for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT.

From there, your AI client can create and edit pages, posts, and block theme templates, such as the header and footer. It can also change your CSS, theme widths, colours, and fonts; install fonts for your site; manage media, custom fields, and post types; and read any page on your site. It will ask for your permission before making any changes to published content and can work on a draft copy that you can preview first.

New WPML and Polylang integrations have also been introduced, meaning the text of Unblock blocks is translated alongside the page and the dynamic data stays in place. New integrations have also been added for Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO.

👋 New: Multilingual Astro Sites

Julian from sitereal has released version 1.0.0 of the visual builder for Astro. You can now publish directly to Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare or your own web hosting via FTP or SFTP without the need for a repository. Previews, recent publications and rolling back are all just a click away, and pushing to GitHub still works alongside this feature.

Additionally, you can now create Astro sites in multiple languages. Simply add a language, then translate the page using the new Translate view with AI or an agent. You can give each language its own addresses, content and even its own domain.

It also comes with a rebuilt drag-and-drop builder, 20 updated templates and a new Dark Mode option.

Directorist MCP connects your WordPress directory to an AI agent, such as Codex. Once connected, the agent can use Directorist’s tools to read information and make changes based on your requests. For example, you can set up a directory’s submission fields, listing layouts and search form. You can also add listings and improve descriptions using existing information, update business details, and allow visitors to submit listings without logging in. You can also review orders, see pending listings, and identify listings that are about to expire. Watch this video to find out more.

WordPress Forms

SureForms 2.13.1 introduces a reCAPTCHA v3 score threshold in the Spam Protection settings, which is used to block submissions with a low score. Additionally, multiple choice options can now display a short description beneath each one. Finally, the Turnstile challenge can now be run on the visitor’s first interaction with the form instead of on page load.

WPForms now lets you add a trial period to Stripe subscriptions.

Marketing Attribution

With Conversion Bridge 1.17, you can now send Google Ads conversions from your own server. When an ad blocker or privacy setting prevents the Google tag from loading in someone’s browser, Google Ads never registers that sale or lead, which makes your campaigns appear less effective than they really are. With server-side tracking enabled, a copy is sent from your server too, and Google only counts it once. In related news, LinkedIn now has server-side tracking too.

E-Commerce, Donations & A/B Testing

SureCart 4.12.0 introduces a new ‘Save for Later’ feature. From product pages, product cards, Quick View and the slide-out cart, shoppers can save products to named lists and view them on a new Saved Items page and in the customer dashboard. In other news, you can now customize Instant Checkouts. Design buy link pages in the Site Editor using blocks, including custom checkout fields.

Kirki eCommerce is now available on the WordPress repository. It allows you to build, launch and manage your online store.

Appointment Bookings

LatePoint Pro 1.7.6 introduces ticket pricing by date range. You can now set different prices for ticket types within date ranges, such as Early Bird or Last Minute pricing. Outside of these ranges, the ticket type’s own price is used.

Newsletters

Newsletter Glue 4.3 comes with Magic Glue, which creates a ready-to-edit newsletter from your latest posts with just one click. You can choose from six styles: Classic, Editorial, Spotlight, Cards, Letter and Briefing. Additionally, NG ESP lists can now include both paid-only and optional newsletters.

SEO

Slim SEO Pro 1.12 introduces a new Index Monitor that allows you to view the index status of each post, page and term in the new ‘Index’ column. Hovering over the column reveals Google’s own explanation. This allows you to identify potential issues such as pages that have not been indexed by Google, 404 errors and pages where Google has selected a different canonical URL. These issues will be checked again the next day. All checks run in the background and the Index Monitor only reads the status. It does not submit URLs to Google.

CRM

Groundhogg 4.10 introduces a new mobile app for your CRM which can be installed using a QR code. You can also connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and more with just a few clicks.

AI Video Generation

Poko now has an MCP server. You can create, edit and export videos directly from Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, as well as browse templates, use your brand kit and voices, and generate music and sound effects.

Laravel & Filament

Pollora is a framework that runs WordPress within a Laravel application. Laravel starts up first and handles front-end requests using its router, controllers and Blade. Meanwhile, the WordPress admin, database and plugins continue to work.

Sloppy can identify AI-written PHP code containing swallowed exceptions, queries within loops and incomplete code. It integrates with coding agents and reviews focus on new findings.

Filament 5.8 introduces deferLoading() for sections, tabs, wizards and repeater items, as well as table grouping that persists throughout the session. It also features lifecycle hooks in traits.

LMS / E-Learning

LifterLMS 11.0 adds 14 new engagement triggers to the free core plugin. These triggers respond when a student is struggling or has gone quiet. Examples include failing a quiz multiple times or not logging in for a number of days. There is also a new view of orders and subscriptions that brings transactions and free orders together and allows you to export them as a CSV file. Finally, students can now access self-serve billing via the new ‘My Subscriptions’ tab on their dashboard.

With Klasio, you can now guide your students with learning paths. You can plan your students’ entire journey, from their first lesson to their final goal.

Remote Work

With Cosmos, you can now open parts of your workspace to guests while keeping your team rooms private. This is great for hosting events on your stage, running breakout sessions in a few rooms, and keeping your team rooms and chats private.

Social Media

With Publer, you can now schedule posts on all supported social networks via app reminders.
