Welcome to the 25th issue of The Pier. When it comes to appointment booking and scheduling plugins for WordPress, there is no way around Amelia. We used it for a client site during the pandemic and it just works. Their customers also loved it for its ease of use, especially the front-end customer panel that allows them to easily manage, reschedule, and cancel appointments. However, there are two serious (new) competing plugins out there, including FluentBooking and LatePoint.

We’ve had our eye on LatePoint for a while, but haven’t pulled the trigger. When Brainstorm Force announced an investment in the plugin and offered a limited LTD, we couldn’t resist. LatePoint comes with an incredible UI/UX and tons of add-ons for the scheduling plugin, including custom fields, taxes, chat, coupons, group bookings, reminders, Stripe, and more. • No-Code Website Builder: Brizy releases new AI text generation feature, available for Brizy Cloud and WordPress Pro plans.

• UX Design: Uxcel releases new AI in UX/UI Design online course.
