Welcome to the 76th issue of The Pier. Rocket.net has announced a new strategic partnership with WP Rocket. All managed WordPress hosting plans now include the popular WordPress caching plugin for free.

Indystack, a managed WordPress cloud hosting provider, has launched a new AI website builder that allows you to generate a custom WordPress website in Gutenberg by simply describing the site in 100 words. Similar to ZipWP.

FluentCommunity 1.1.11 adds Quick View for Posts, allowing you to open posts as a modal similar to Facebook and Circle. Also, Space and Course slug can be customized.

PublishPress launches Logtivity, a new activity log dashboard for all your WordPress sites.

Matt from Human Made shares more details about the Asset Manager Framework for WordPress, also used by NASA, which provides a bridge between WordPress and a content delivery network, allowing assets to be offloaded to a CDN while still being managed through the WordPress backend.

CrawlWP is a new instant indexing & SEO insights plugin that monitors your site’s visibility on Google, Bing, Yandex, Naver, Yep and Seznam.cz. From the same team behind MailOptin, ProfilePress and FuseWP.

E-Commerce

SureCart 3.1 introduces shipping zone regions, giving you more granular control over your shipping zones. You can create shipping rules for specific states, provinces and territories. For example, you can now charge a different shipping rate depending on which US state you ship to. This is available globally.

Siren Affiliates announces the upcoming release of Easy Digital Downloads and North Commerce integrations for next month.

Max Addons for Bricks releases a new WooCommerce checkout page builder for Bricks Builder that allows you to customise your checkout with new billing and shipping fields as well as checkout hooks.

Server Management

Ploi adds support for PHP 8.4, PostgreSQL 17 and passkeys. You can now also run scripts before, during and after your zero downtime deployments.

Remote Work

Cosmos now allows you to stream call recordings directly to YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook and Twitch.

Project Management

Nifty introduces Forms 2.0 with conditional form fields, conditional task sorting via automation, email follow-up with form field and task ID integration and CSV downloads of submission history. Owners, Admins and even custom roles can now edit messages from any workspace collaborator.

Customer Portals & User Feedback

Kitchen.co releases the new Tasks feature in beta as well as Labels, a new way to organize your Kitchen boards.

Userback releases Integration Logs that allow you to easily track and review the status of all your integration activities directly in the user feedback platform. Quickly identify successful syncs or troubleshoot errors with detailed logs that provide clear insight into your connected tools.

Partnership Management

Partnero introduces the new Newsletter plan for only $10/month, which gives you access to the Newsletter Referral Program. They are also adding an extra Newsletter Referral program to all existing plans.

Final Cut Pro & Video Delivery

Bunny Stream launches Premium Encoding, the next big leap in delivering exceptional video experiences, powered by Just-In-Time (JIT) technology.

All CineStudio, DesignStudio and standalone plugins from MotionVFX are fully compatible with Final Cut Pro 11.

Automation

The new Pabbly Connect Agency feature allows you to easily assign tasks directly to your clients’ Pabbly Connect accounts or to the accounts of other team members.

Digital Signage

Juuno releases a major update to its player, allowing you to pre-render Website and Embed apps for a smoother UX. There is no loader anymore.

Icons

Streamline adds 6,800 new icons to its icon design system, including the Core, Flex, Plump and Sharp icon sets.

Reputation Management

Custom AI prompts now support dynamic placeholders when building the response to the review. This should give you similar results to the built-in EmbedMyReviews prompt, but with more control over how the AI generates the response.
